Intra-city helicopter service to start soon in Bengaluru

Ever experienced the iconic Bengaluru travel experience, that is, the city traffic? You probably have; it is impossible to miss something that big and that frequent. 

But here's good news – soon, the city will have intra-city helicopter service. This means, a simpler commute from north to south and vice versa, more specifically, an easier and shorter commute from Bangalore International Airport to Hosur in the southeast of the city.

From the airport, one will be able to take the morning flight (and evening flight for those taking the service from Hosur) to their destination in the south of the city. This is a big one, given the fact that it takes up to three hours on the road for someone travelling from South to North or vice versa. 

With this heli service, the total commute time will be under 20 minutes!. For someone on a quick business trip, this is a golden option as now they can save a lot of time doing something productive instead of spending several hours in the commute alone.

India received a resounding 46 out of 53 votes, ahead of South Korea (23), China (19), and the UAE (15). In a significant victory, India has been elected to the United Nations Statistical Commission for a four-year term. India reportedly received a resounding 46 out of 53 votes, ahead of South Korea (23), China (19), and the UAE (15). DRDO’s scientists make 'rat cyborgs' for security forces’ intelligence surveillance

The Young Scientist Laboratory of the premier R&D facility Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) is currently developing "rat cyborgs” whose goal is to assist security forces with recovery operations and intelligence gathering. During a session of the World Science Congress, P Shiva Prasad, Director of the DRDO's Young Scientist Laboratory (DYSL-AT), stated that the rat cyborgs will have cameras mounted on their heads. He also revealed that these will be guided by electronic commands delivered via semi-invasive brain electrodes. “This is the first time India has engaged in developing such technology. Some foreign nations already have it. It will help the armed forces in Intelligence Surveillance and Recovery (ISR) operations.
